- Lived in or travelled to Central or West Africa, where Loa loa infection can cause serious reactions

Which is better, Ivanorm or Iverheal?
Both contain ivermectin in the same 3, 6 and 12 mg strengths, so they work the same way. Choose on the tablet size that matches your dose and the price per milligram on the price page.
Is Iverheal the same as Stromectol?
Iverheal contains ivermectin, the active ingredient in Stromectol. Stromectol is a 3 mg tablet; Iverheal also comes in 6 and 12 mg. Iverheal is not the licensed Stromectol product in the US, UK or Australia.
How do I know which strength I need?
Ivermectin is dosed by weight, usually around 200 micrograms per kilogram for threadworm. Your prescriber works out the total dose, and you pick the tablet size that adds up to it. See the dosage chart.
Does ivermectin work for COVID-19 or cancer?
Large randomised trials found ivermectin did not help people with COVID-19, and the FDA and WHO advise against using it for COVID outside trials. For cancer, evidence is limited to lab and animal studies.
Do I need a prescription for ivermectin?

Can I split a 12 mg tablet?
Only if your prescriber or the pack says the tablet can be split. Choosing 3 or 6 mg tablets is a more accurate way to reach an exact dose.
